More old Egg Bowl stuff.

Here are a few more things from the past as we continue to try to recall Egg Bowls of yesterday.


A couple of old cowbells. For non- State people, these are passed down from generation to generation. I ain't lying.



This next one has been banged off a few bleachers or other fans heads. I had that sticker once. The missing word is "meat". I've been looking for the old "Ding, Dong, Dammit" sticker that looks just like this one. Anybody got one? Or know where one is?



Love him, hate him, or whatever, Jackie changed the mind set of State fans. He also made the Egg Bowl a hell of a lot of fun for State fans and gave us some great Egg Bowl memories.

Who can ever forget the Clarion-Ledger headline the week of the '91 Egg Bowl?

"The Dog vs The Reverend" (for the uniformed, Ole Miss coach Billy "Dog" Brewer referred to Jackie as the "Reverend Sherrill" earlier in the year.
